“Whitelist” Our Domain Name

Our The Freeport Navigator emails – including our monthly issues – will always be sent from [email protected]. Adding this address to your contact list should prevent emails from being mislabeled as spam or junk.

To further prevent this from happening, I recommend that you “whitelist” our domain name. I have included instructions on how to do this below.

 Gmail Users

To receive The Freeport Navigator emails in your Gmail inbox, please follow these steps:

  • Open your Gmail mailbox.
  • Click on the “Promotions” tab in your inbox.
  • Drag any emails from [email protected] into the “Primary” tab in your inbox.
  • Click “Yes” when asked if you’d like to receive all future emails in your “Primary” Inbox.

 AOL Users:

To receive The Freeport Navigator emails in your AOL inbox, please follow these steps

  • Open your AOL mailbox.
  • Click on “Mail.”
  • Under “Mail Preferences,” click on “Settings.”
  • Click on “Spam Controls” and the “AOL’s Advanced Spam Filter” will appear.
  • Make sure that “Medium” is checked.
  • Click on the “Control Who I Get Mail From” button under “Additional Spam Folders.”
  • Select “Allow Mail Only From Senders On My Custom Service List.”
  • Click on the blue “Custom Sender List” link and enter the following email address: [email protected].
  • Click “Add” and then “Save.”
  • Click “Save” again after you’ve been directed out of the “Customer Sender List” screen.
  • Click “Save” one last time when you have been directed back to the “Spam Controls” page.

Hotmail Users

To receive The Freeport Navigator emails in your Hotmail inbox, please follow these steps:

  • Open your Hotmail mailbox.
  • Click “Options” in the upper right corner.
  • Click “Mail.”
  • Click “Junk E-Mail Protection.”
  • Click “Junk E-Mail Filter.”
  • From the selection list titled “Choose Your Junk E-Mail Filter Level,” select either “Low” or “Enhanced.” Then click “OK” at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click “Safe List.”
  • In the space provided under “Type an Address or Domain,” enter the following email address: [email protected]. Then click “Add.”

MSN Users

To receive The Freeport Navigator emails in your MSN inbox, please follow these steps:

  • Open your MSN mailbox.
  • Click “Help & Settings.”
  • Click “Email Settings.”
  • Click “Safe List.”
  • In the space provided under “Add an Item to This List,” enter “The Freeport Navigator”.
  • Click “Add.”
  • In the space provided under “Type a Single E-Mail Address (or Domain),” enter the following email address: [email protected]. Then click “Add.”

Yahoo! Users

To receive The Freeport Navigator emails in your Yahoo! inbox, please follow these steps:

  • Open your Yahoo! mailbox.
  • Click “Mail Options” in the upper right corner.
  • Click “Filters.”
  • Click “Add.”
  • In the “Filter Name” box, enter “The Freeport Navigator”.
  • In the top row labeled “From Header,” make sure that “Contains” is selected in the drop-down menu.
  • Click the text box next to the drop-down menu. Enter the following address: [email protected].
  • Where it says “Move the Message to,” select “Inbox” from the drop-down menu.
  • Click “Add Filter.”

If our letter appears not to have arrived on any given day, please check your junk folder.
